Halloween

The month is over and the sidebar remains the same. The guilt of this failure, and the desire to not start my term project has driven me to write this post. I think the events of the last 72 hours could warrant a post. As a collective my roomates and i feel that our houses party potential is not being fulfilled. Because of this we took it upon ourselves to host a halloween party. The friday before the party ben came over to begin working on his costume. Nothing of the sort happened. We instead went shopping for light bulbs, and made cheese-stuffed-bacon-wrapped-chicken-doubledown-ceasar-wraps (see image below). Tears of joy followed. Saturday was spent cleaning the house, shopping for and installing blacklights, and ordering chinese food. Ben returned and after a few iterations his costume became a transformer, or tin man, or decepticon. I was a chilean miner (bee-tee-dub). It was snowing, which was wonderful, to celebrate, despite severe health and safety risks we figured out how to turn on our gas fireplace without exploding anything. The first hour or two was spent being terrified if anyone was going to show up. But they did. Ben spent most of the night being harassed in the bathroom while i sulked and threw eggs at my roomate. Our bompin-blacklit basement was a success and i think weve built up a good enough reputation now to be able to host a decent sized party. We think after one more trial run we will attempt a kegger. To which your all invited, if you choose to make the journey. I awoke to ben picking remnants of his costume out of my bed, and our living room covered in playing cards and feathers. Lactose free pancakes and 8 hours of lord of the rings followed. All in all, a perfect day.

ALSO - INSIDE JOKES FTW

I think Im going to go buy a desk chair to replace the crippled death trap im sitting in now. That should kill an hour or so. Tee-tee-why-elle.
