Internet world, I address thee,
I have been checking this blog on a daily basis for at least two weeks now. No updates. So, I will take the opportunity to provide an insight into my new life on the west coast.
On April 24 I packed up my life and flew to Vancouver. The travelling went well and I was at my home by 4pm that day. I am living in a home in East Vancouver. I rent an upstairs bedroom from a couple in their thirties. There is also another guy from my program who rents a room across the hall. My landlords cook all my food, which is nice. Anyways, thats boring. I had a week off before starting school on May, 3 so i took the time to explore the city. I ventured out to Stanley park and the convention center. I also took in the lower east side and two movies (how to train your dragon, and Chloe - both excellent).
I must say that I am having the time of my life here. The weather is Go-jus, and I couldn't have asked for more from the program. Everyone of my classmates are great. We work well together, and should have fun this year. for the next 8 weeks we will continue to develop our documentaries for shooting in week 8. The night life here is great, and there is no trouble trying to find something to do on weekends (lately we've been busy on weekends). The scenery is absolutely beautiful. This really is one of the greatest cities I have ever been to.

The Creation of The Great White Alligator
There once was a small collection of highschool students who spent their unassigned periods playing asshole and doing donuts in the laurier hill parking lot. Over the years of their tomfoolery they documented many a humorous story and anecdote, many of which were not entertaining in the least to anyone who did not experience them first hand. Time passed, fruit dropped, flesh sagged, and soon those highschool students were university students. Their academic endevours were varied. Between them they would gain knowledge of the modern and ancient history of the Who people, how to manufacture and program harbingers of death, the fine art of fake engineering, and... whatever Ryan's taking.... pharmaceuticals or something. Sorry Ryan. Distanced too were the locations of their institutions of education. Their lines of communication were not guaranteed to stay intact. It was decided that the memories were to be preserved in the salty brine of the internet. What was created was a documentation of the events that surpassed within the time that was spent together by these fine young men. The piece was named after one of the most illogical and nonsensical conversations that was ever engaged by the group. And thus was born, Great White Alligator.
