Anyway! i came up with a theory lately that i wish to share with you. Do you ever realize that some of the people in your dreams are strangers? I wondered if it was just me for a while, hoping it would indicate some strange condition that i could use as an excuse to not feel in akward in akward situations in a "ITS NOT MY FAULT! IM DIFFERENT!" kind of way. but apparantly not, it happens to everybody. My roommate says he completely fabricates and has sex with strangers in his dreams. So i got to wondering how does the mind render completely new characters, out of nothing, that talk and interact and, if your me, ridicule in your dreams? The people in my dreams do and say things for reasons i don't understand, how does the mind completely invent a whole other personality for a dream character to have and act out without it being a projection of your own personality? because its impossible to imagine how another person thinks. Which brings me to my theory that these dream people could exist in real life. I like to think they live somewhere in the world, possibly another time and i have met people from all over the world while i sleep. I like to think they dream about me as i dream about them. We are brought together in a little dream world from across the continents. Its a rather lovely thought i think, and i hope its true. It would also make a fantastic idea for a movie, so look forward to SLUMBER starring ERIK BAHM, directed by GRANT DEVRIES and RICHARD WITHERS, written by KYLE THOMPSON, assistant to the director: BEN KEIFER, catered by RYANS MOM.
much love,
