I Kinda Forgot How To Do This

Oh, hello there. My New Years resolution was to blog more, so here goes. It's been a while, so I almost feel like I've forgotten how to do this. It will not stop snowing in ottawa. It was sunny yesterday and there was still snow coming down, just a light sprinkle, but it will not stop. I love snow, but i think after a certain point of walking in slush and always having wet feet, you just want to see the sun. Speaking of the sun, I watched a movie called Moon last night. Excellent movie! Kinda weird, its about some guy whose stationed alone on the moon. If you're thinking of watching it, don't watch the trailer first, it gives away too much.
The fan on my laptop is fucked up. It is VERY loud, Ive probably told some of you this before but it was so loud once it woke up my roommate, he thought it was his phone vibrating. So im going to go to Rideau Center today to see how long it would be for it to be sent away and fixed. But I need it for pretty much everything, so i dunno if thats even possible. I found that if you lift up the corner of the laptop and drop it while the fan is going nuts it makes it quieter... sometimes... so the times it doesnt i get frustrated and more and more aggressive with it. I need to fix it fast before i break it.
So far my semester is looking ok. I dont have many art classes, which blows, but all my teachers speak perfect english, which i have never been more thankful for. I dont think i could take another semester of "is ayisickleteh tlee den.." which translated means "if i is equal to three then.." *twitch*
So the Burj Dubai was official opened yesterday. It is 828m, and they renamed it Burj Khalifa, just to fuck with people. It's weird for me to think of it as being done, it doesnt seem long ago that i would spend hours online looking at construction images of it when it was only 20 storeys tall. Anyway, there was a crazy ass opening ceremony, if you've got 12 minutes to kill the whole thing is awesome, but jump to 8:50 to see the whole building lights up.

btw. the tallest building in the world is also next to the largest mall and largest fountain in the world which shoots 150m into the air.. i love dubai.
